In its January 2017 issue, Business North Carolina featured John Nipp for achieving the status of Legal Elite Hall of Fame in the category of Intellectual Property. This honor is given to the attorney receiving the most votes in a statewide survey of members of the North Carolina State Bar asking them to select the most distinguished attorney in the state in each field of law. This is Mr. Nipp’s sixth consecutive selection as a Legal Elite in the category of Intellectual Property Law (2012-2017). Mr. Nipp was also selected as a Legal Elite in the category of Litigation for 2017, his second consecutive year receiving that honor.
